iPhoneDiet.org makes available, free-of-charge, the iPhone Diet - an automatic path to healthy eating habits and lifelong weight management. It was designed in 2001 by Thorsten Hoins for his own, personal use.

Thorsten built iPhoneDiet.org in response to requests he received from friends and colleagues to share his diet – when it became obvious to them that whatever it was he was doing was working.

About Thorsten Hoins

Thorsten Hoins [Photo] is the creator of the iPhone Diet largely because he kept getting questions on “how he did it” and thought it would be a fine thing to do over the '07 Thanksgiving holiday.

Thorsten was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. After being a high school exchange student in Helmville, Montana (POP. 155), Thorsten turned all his energy into studying mass communications in Los Angeles. Somewhere in this is a story that should tell you much of what you need to know about him.

Past lives have found Thorsten plugging away as a product placement consultant, grant writer, commercial producer, reluctant telemarketer, and enthusiastic but unprofitable purveyor of the Shuffle Beanie.

More recently, Thorsten has focused his energy on creating social enterprises. Freelanthropy is the most manifest of these efforts to date…but his big dream is to create America’s most philanthropic enterprise, by design – based on a proprietary business process he invented.

Thorsten lives in San Gabriel, CA with Sandra, his fiancée, Kelsey and Christopher, his stepchildren…and he also shares in the care and feeding of Domino – the puppy his parents never got him.
